If the previous owner or rescue registered the pet with PChipped, ask them to start a transfer to your email — you’ll get a link to claim it. If the chip isn’t in PChipped yet, or you can’t reach the previous owner, you can register the chip in your name directly. If it’s registered with another company, you’ll need to contact that registry to update ownership on their side.
