When you report a pet lost, the system sends an alert — by email and text — to community members who’ve signed up to receive notifications within about a 50-mile radius of where the pet went missing, based on zip code. More local eyes means a better chance of a fast reunion. This is part of our Lost Pet Recovery release and rolls out after the core registry launches.
